After a lovely 2-month hiatus of work on the condo after our move-in, the work resumed this week. Keri's parents came down from Michigan to help us get jump-started yet again and motivated to finish the first floor. We got some big things done! The first floor is not done yet, but shelves and trim got painted, shoe was put down on the floors, windows were caulked, Keri's dad yet again worked on plumbing issues, and he built a ledge between the kitchen and dining area. It is exciting to work on the place again, but also overwhelming as we're reminded of everything that needs to be done which we were happily oblivious to for a while. My parents also brought their dog and Keri's sister's dog down, so we had some chaotic times with Mani wanting to constantly play with the other two dogs. They worked it all out, but sometimes it was crazy! It was so good to have Keri's parents here. Mani is sleeping through the night (Thank goodness!) and besides a small case of worms is doing well. He's still such a people dog and loves to snuggle up to us when we're hanging out in the evenings. If only we could get "come," "settle" and "heel" down, we'd be doing awesome. He has doubled his weight since we got him (about 12 lbs when we got him and about 25 now) and sometimes we swear he's grown another inch over night. He's going to be a big dog! We're not sure why he has devil green eyes in most of his pictures, but overlook that...he's cute.
A growing puppy-almost knee height on Keri! Mani with his biggest squeaky dog (none of the four have ears anymore!)
Almost too big to snuggle like this with C.J.
